Add holidays
Mark nonworking days in your plan
In Nialli™ Visual Planner, you can designate holidays — days when the site is closed or no work is scheduled. You can add holidays individually or import multiple days at once. When multiday activities are added to the plan, they will not include the days designated as holidays. Activities can be moved into a holiday manually.
Add a holiday from the main interface
To add a single holiday directly in the plan view:
- Right-click the required date in the top calendar bar.
- On a touch display (e.g., Nureva® Wall), press and hold the date.
- In the contextual menu, select Add holiday.
- In the Add holiday dialog:
- Name — Enter the holiday name (e.g., Labor Day).
- Date — Confirm or select the correct date on the calendar.
- Site closed — Check this box if the site will be closed on that day.
- Click Save to apply or Cancel to discard.
Note: To add multiple company holidays that are set by your subscription administrator, click the Import master holidays button.
Visual indicators on the timeline
When holidays are added:
- The holiday name replaces the standard label that shows the day of the week and date number on the main Visual Planner timeline.
- Holidays for which the site is closed are highlighted in dark red.
- Holidays for which the site remains open are displayed in a lighter red.
These visual cues help users quickly identify nonworking days and plan accordingly.
