Power BI Reports can be generated comparing the master schedule to the phase plan or the weekly plan. To make these comparisons, there needs to be a data connection between the activities in the master schedule (Oracle® Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject® or similar) and the plan.
When the master schedule has been imported into the plan, this connection is made automatically using the Schedule ID from the master plan. This ID will be brought into the phase plan when activities are imported and brought into the phase. This connection enables the tracking of changes to the schedule, planned versus actual, when phase planning (scope, sequence and duration) and in the weekly plan.
