How to switch between daily view and plan view when accessing plans on mobile or tablet
Overview
In the mobile layout on a phone or tablet, there are two operational modes for field users: daily view (the default) and plan view. These modes are intended for workers at the jobsite for inputting, managing and updating tasks. Team planning and plan manipulation capabilities are reserved for larger screens in the jobsite trailer or planning room. Users with the Edit my trade permission will only see the activities that are assigned to them. Plan administrators see all lanes and activities from all trades.
Daily view (default)
- Task display: Shows tasks for the current day, organized by lanes.
- Lane management: Tap the lane headers to collapse or expand sections.
- Navigation: Scroll vertically through the task list.
- Stage Area & constraint access: View this section at the bottom of the screen:
-
- Add stage activity — quickly create tasks in the Stage Area .
-
- Constraint log — report issues immediately.
- Top bar controls:
-
- Nialli “n” logo — opens the main menu
-
- Plan name — identifies your current plan
-
- Today button — returns view to the current date
-
- Plan view button — switches to the full plan overview
Plan view
- Visual layout: Mirrors the desktop view of a plan with full weekly lanes and calendar format.
