Create a phase plan
What is a phase pull plan?
A phase pull is used to collaboratively define a high-level plan for a specific phase of work. It aligns teams by working backwards from a target milestone and identifying the necessary sequence of tasks to reach it.
Unlike the Weekly planning view, which focuses on day-to-day execution, the phase pull area allows teams to visualize the bigger picture — showing how each activity fits into the overall flow of a phase. Its focus is on the scope, sequence and duration of a project phase.
Phase pull planning is ideal for:
- Understanding task sequences and handoffs
- Identifying potential constraints early
- Improving alignment across trades before weekly execution
