NIALLI WEBINAR SERIES

Bridging the handoff gap

Driving Lean flow from design to execution

September 24, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. MDT

About this event

Projects don't typically fail during individual tasks - they stall in the gaps between them. When critical handoffs between design, preconstruction and field execution break down, schedules drift, rework skyrockets and trade accountability vanishes.

Join Nialli and Lean practice leader Sean Sachtleben on September 24 as we explore how implementing Lean planning principles creates seamless workflow continuity across the project lifecycle.

We'll be discussing:

  • Handoff challenges in construction: How traditional CPM schedules hide execution bottlenecks and involve critical decision makers too late.
  • Preconstruction to field continuity: How to carry design and precon planning into phase pull planning sessions.
  • Securing reliable commitments: Getting trades to be active contributors in weekly planning sessions rather than reacting to top down directives.
  • Driving continuous improvement: How accurate data capture exposes root causes and prevents recurring delays on future phases of work and improves future bids.
