How will the migration work?

We’ve made the migration process simple and seamless.

Here's what you need to know about how your Nialli Visual Planner subscription will be transitioned from the Windows application to the new web application. 

1. Contacting you: We will reach out directly to each Subscription Administrator to schedule a migration date and time that aligns with their planning schedule to minimize any disruption.  

2. Reminder: One day prior to the migration, subscription admins and plan admins will receive an email to remind them of the planned migration schedule.  

3. Migration window: At the scheduled time, our team will handle the migration behind the scenes. You are not required to do anything, although we ask that you be available should any questions arise. 

Note: During the migration window, users will NOT be able to access their plans. 

4. Notification: Once the migration is complete, subscription admins and plan admins will be notified. We ask that you also notify your users of the change. 

5. Data Migration: Your plan data will be migrated to the new system, and users will be able to continue planning as usual. No additional manual data entry or work is required to get started.

6. User Access: All users will be automatically migrated to their plans with their existing permissions intact. However, each user will need to create a new account the first time they log in

Caution: Users MUST use the same email address they used for their account in the Windows version when they create their new account on the web version. Failure to do so will result in previous access permissions not transferring over during migration. 

Note: If your organization uses SSO, please let us know so we can work with your IT team during the migration process to ensure everything is set up properly.
